Foam Sprinkler Heads Mounted within the roof structure provides an even distribution of foam assuring fast flame knock down and fire control. They also provide cooling to the structure and protection from heat radiation.
PTW Foam nozzle and PTT/S dual-purpose foam / water nozzles are special fire extinguishing components that generate and spray air foam. They are mainly used in low-expansion foam spray systems. The foam mixed liquid is transported to the foam nozzle through the pipeline, and the air is sucked in before the foam nozzle's outlet to form air foam, which is sprayed in the protected danger zone to achieve the purpose of extinguishing the fire.
Spray systems employing foam sprinklers have great utility in fire protection of aircraft hangers, chemical process areas, petroleum loading racks, terminals, refineries and flammable liquid storage areas.
When the foam mixed liquid with a certain pressure flows through the inner cavity of the foam nozzle, due to the throttling, the flow velocity is increased, the pressure is reduced, a negative pressure is formed, and air is sucked in, and a certain multiple of air foam is formed by the blow-up effect in the nozzle .
